Regional ADI (the deposit taking institution) had a very small and relatively new product team, and were in the process of recruiting to fill gaps. The new Head of Deposit/Card Products had limited processes established for collaboration, governance and communication between channel teams and product teams - slowing down product launches.
Solution
The product team engaged an Expert with strategic experience to develop a three year roadmap for the Deposits/Cards business, combining existing digital initiatives and a product simplification and migration requirements.
The roadmap included plans for collaboration, communication, governance and aspirations and descriptions to launch a new product.
Impact
The clear strategy around launching the product helped enormously with cohesion between the marketing teams, product teams and the branch network.
ADI saw a positive adoption rate of 60% in the first few months, largely thanks to the additional strategic support of the Expert engaged to help design and document the launch roadmap.
