In this course, you'll learn how to use Jira Software's out-of-the box reporting and dashboard capabilities to view and assess progress and bottlenecks within projects. You'll also learn how to read Jira Software reports, configure a wallboard, and create a multi-project dashboard.
This course also discusses dashboard best practices and pitfalls and how to ensure your reporting reflects the right metrics (like health, progress, and status) at the right time. When finished, you’ll feel more confident using Jira for one of its core strengths: displaying project status visually on fully customizable dashboards.
All instructor-led team training (Team Virtual and Team On-site only) includes access to Atlassian University’s unique hands-on labs — a safe, sandbox environment to learn the tools by using them. So you can reinforce your team's training with some muscle memory. You can continue to access labs for 24 hours after classroom time with your instructor.
This course is designed for anyone new to Jira dashboards and reports, plus Jira project managers including scrum masters, Product owners, and Jira software users.
Before taking this course you should complete Jira Essentials with Agile Mindset or be familiar with topics including navigation, viewing boards and issues, Jira workflows, Jira filters, and using the advanced JQL editor to enter filter queries.
