NBN was rolling out a new network, rapidly scaling up numerous multi-hundred million dollar projects. Access to quality talent, at speed and cost-efficiently was becoming an issue resulting in NBN having significant problems delivering projects on-time, on-scope and on-budget.
Onboarding contract and consulting talent had an average turnaround time of ~9 weeks; resulting in critical delays.
Given the business leaders’ desire to meet goals and objectives, line managers were bringing in talent outside the process without proper onboarding/offboarding, risk, or compliance management.
