Here at Expert360, we believe that going independent doesn’t mean going at it alone.
One of the most significant changes of going freelance is not receiving regular monthly paychecks; which makes work and lifestyle choices extremely important. With the rise of the freelance workforce, one of the hurdles we recognise and would like to assist with is managing your financial wellbeing.
In our mission to lead the future of work and support the financial wellbeing of our consultant community, Expert360 has partnered up with some of the best financial institutions, insurance and superannuation organisations as your stepping stone to making working for yourself truly work.
Below is a summary of the various partnerships in place that are available to you:
Expert360 has partnered with some of Australia’s leading financial institutions to help improve the financial wellbeing of its freelancers. We have a workplace banking partnership with Macquarie Bank to give freelancers access to competitive mortgages and credit cards, and RateSetter for personal loans.
The Macquarie Workplace Banking Partnership gives our Experts access to competitive personal banking products, educational content & exclusive events to improve their financial wellbeing. Our Expert360 community will access Macquarie’s digital banking platform, supported by an engagement approach that can range from digital content, expertise articles, to phone-based consultations or speaker series events for professionals. This includes tips and tools for our community on how to manage their finances, whether that is improving their budgeting, saving for their first home, or helping them pay off their home loan faster whilst staying in control of their finances.
RateSetter is Australia’s leading peer-to-peer lender, connecting savvy investors with creditworthy borrowers who want a simple, competitive loan. RateSetter provides fast, flexible secured or unsecured personal loans to help our Experts fund their next big purchase, business investment, holiday or when the 'unexpected happens'.
Expert360 is making it easier for freelancers to put money aside for retirement with Future Super and Grow Super. We understand navigating superannuation is tricky as a freelancer, so we've partnered with two funds that we believe make super simpler for our community.
Future Super is Australia’s first fossil-fuel free superannuation fund, investing your super in many of the world’s greatest, forward-thinking companies, without compromising our future. Their digital platform takes the complexity out of consolidating your super and making personal contributions. Future Super will also help champion financial wellbeing for our Expert community, sharing valuable information around your superannuation obligations and how to think about saving for your retirement.
GROW Super makes superannuation simple by putting control back in your hands. With their market-leading digital platform (online or via their mobile app), you'll have real-time visibility over your finances as well as the tools and knowledge to empower you. Exercise choice around how your money is invested, and where, with the option to put a portion of your super into industries that matter to you. With GROW, Experts can expect a complete understanding of where they are now, where they're heading and how to get there.
As a freelancer, it is common that Insurance is something to consider given the work you are doing is performed by you as a business. The most common types of insurance considered by freelancers are:
Accidents and Sickness
Expert360 has partnered with IAG Insurance to provide professional indemnity and public liability insurance to Experts through their CGU brand. From early 2019, when you freelance through Expert360, and you are eligible for cover, you can forget about the cost and administration associated with annual Insurance policies, and rest easy that you’re covered.
When you browse projects on our platform, you will clearly see that a Project is covered under insurance so you can assume your professional Indemnity and public liability is covered
The Insurance coverage is:
Professional Indemnity $5,000,000 AOC / $20,000,000 Aggregate
Public Liability insurance $10,000,000 AOC / $40,000,000 Aggregate
